My favorite teacher, Deolinda
Before I start studding at Sigma I had heard about Deolinda. She is a literature teacher and every body said bad things about her, like “I hate her classes, she never do something new, to change a little”. In my first day in Sigma I saw her and confirmed what they said about her look, “She is like a witch, she is very ugly and old!” and she is really like a witch! So, I run to my class to runaway for her. I entered in my class and I thought that was every thing all right, but ( can you imagine?) my first class was literature. I was despair. She, in the first class, caused the impression that she really love literature and her job, and that she is very organized and well-prepared teacher and she wasn’t that ugly.
Over time, I realized that Deolinda was a very good teacher, especially because her love what she was teaching. She teaches and recites with so much passion that makes us like and want more. She is tan, short and a little old. She has a short blonde hair. She is always using high hells, modern clothes and lipstick.
Deolinda is a great teacher. One day, in Sigma, at the afternoon, I was studying but I couldn’t understand. And, Deolinda was passing and saw me. She stopped and asked me if I need help, I said yes. She sat down and started explain me every thing. In the next week I had test, before the test I was very nervous because I was scared the get bad grade. When I was entering in the test class Deolinda saw me and called me. I went to her and she said to me “Luiza, don’t worry, be calm, do well the test, I know that you will get great grade because I know that you stud hard for this test. Be calm!” When I heard that I immediately be calm and did a great test. Some weeks later, I received my grade, I get ten! I was so happy that I runs and hug Deolinda and she said to me “I told you!”
In fact, all the people that said bad things about Deolinda don’t realized what a fantastic teacher was teaching they and don’t deserved her attention. Deolinda is the best teacher that I ever had.
